Concert al Palau

Listen / Buy the album

This concert was recorded live on May 1st, 2004 at the Palau de la Música Catalana. During the XV Barcelona Guitar Festival and in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of “Orquestra de Guitars de Barcelona” (Guitar Orchestra of Barcelona).

The first of part of the concert was performed by the orchestra formation as it was at the time of the event. The soloist who appear in the second part are musicians who regularly perform with us, and the final section of the program features the entertaining collaboration of some old members of the orchestra, who happily joined in the celebration. This is how we were able to form an orchestra made up 50 guitars.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has offered heir enthusiasm and work over the years to make this project, which began bak in 1989, a relaity.
